# **Balta Nana**
Balta Nana is a fishing lake with retention, with a surface area of approximately 7 hectares, located in Nana commune, Călărași county. The lake is divided into two fishing basins, offering different possibilities depending on the chosen area and the angler's experience. The basin on the left side, the largest, occupies approximately two-thirds of the lake's surface and is suitable especially for beginner anglers or for those who want a relaxed fishing session. In this basin, there are carp, grass carp and crucian carp, offering chances for varied catches. The basin on the right side, smaller, occupies approximately one-third of the water surface and is populated with larger carp and grass carp. This area can be a suitable choice for anglers who are looking for more consistent catches. The banks of the lake are bordered by willows and reeds, and anglers have at their disposal fishing spots and spaces for camping. From the available information, the lake does not present floating vegetation and there are no significant underwater obstacles reported, conditions that can facilitate fishing and the recovery of catches. An important aspect is that Balta Nana operates in a fishing with retention regime, with catches being able to be kept within the limits of the lake's conditions and regulations. Through its surface, the available species and the possibility of retaining the caught fish, Balta Nana represents a suitable destination both for beginner anglers and for those who want a fishing session oriented towards catches for consumption. For the best possible experience, anglers are encouraged to check the current regulations of the lake, including the species and quantities that can be retained, as well as the fishing and camping conditions.
