How much does it cost to list my lake?

Nothing. Listing is free, and there is no monthly fee, no listing fee and no premium tier. LakeBooking earns only when an angler books. They pay a flat 10% booking fee online, and you collect the remaining 90% directly from them at the lake.

Is there a monthly subscription?

No. There is no subscription of any kind, and no paid placement. Search results are ranked on what matches the angler's search, never on what a host paid.

How does the 10% booking fee work?

When an angler confirms a booking, they pay 10% of the total online by card. That fee counts toward their total rather than sitting on top of it, so the price they see is the price they pay. LakeBooking retains that fee as its commission. The remaining 90% is paid to you directly at the lake, in cash or on your own POS. Nothing is deducted from what you collect.

You do. You control your prices, your availability, your swims, your house rules and which bookings you accept. LakeBooking brings you the angler and handles the booking; how you run the water is yours.

Can I manage availability?

Yes. Close individual dates or whole seasons, block a swim for maintenance, set how much notice you need, and run different rules per package. Search only ever shows anglers what is genuinely free.

Can I add multiple swims?

Yes, as many as you have. Each swim can carry its own photos, description, capacity and map position, and packages can be limited to specific swims.

Can I set my own prices?

Yes. Price per package and per session length, charge differently by weekday or season, add extras like bait or a bivvy, and run discounts when you want to fill quiet dates.

Can I take bookings online?

That is the point. Anglers pick their dates, swims and party size, pay the booking fee, and the booking lands in your dashboard and your calendar. You can confirm automatically or review each one by hand.

What if I already have my own website?

Keep it. Most hosts do. LakeBooking is another way anglers find you, and plenty of hosts link their own site straight to their LakeBooking page so the booking still goes through one calendar. You also get a QR code for your lake page to print on a sign at the gate.

Can I claim a lake that is already listed?

Yes. We add some lakes ourselves so anglers can find them before their owners join. If you find yours already on the site, open its page and use "Claim this lake". Tell us who you are and how you are connected to it, we check by hand, and once approved the listing, its calendar and every booking on it become yours.
