Utopik Carp Lake

Utopik Carp Lake is a former gravel pit in the commune of Ineu, Bihor county, 5 km from the road between Oradea and Cluj and 20 minutes from Oradea. The gravel pit, opened in 2005, was re-excavated and landscaped starting in 2023 into a carp lake with 23 hectares of water surface, with straight banks, plateaus and drop-offs and depths of up to 4.5 meters. The water is stocked with common carp and mirror carp, and the owner's galleries from the last three years show specimens that constantly exceed 20 kilograms. Fishing is done only in catch and release mode, with the rig planted by boat or bait-boat, and the fish is handled and photographed exclusively in the water. The fourteen swims are spread out on dikes and peninsulas, at a distance from each other, and each has its own small house with a bedroom, bathroom and terrace with an outdoor kitchen, electricity, hot water, Wi-Fi and a charging station for electric cars. On each swim you find a boat, an unhooking mat, two slings and a weighing system, and the premises are fenced and permanently video monitored.
