Affiliate Programme

You can earn from LakeBooking in two ways:

• Refer anglers and earn a commission on every booking they make.
• Refer hosts and earn a one-off bonus once they publish their first paid booking.

If you write about fishing, run a YouTube channel, moderate an angling community, or manage a tackle shop's web presence — both sides of this work for you.

How it works

1. Apply with a quick form: what channel / shop / community you represent, audience size, and the country you reach.
2. Get a referral link like lakebooking.com/?ref=YOUR-HANDLE. Put it in a video description, a bio, a newsletter — wherever you reach anglers or hosts.
3. Earn:
   • For angler referrals: 10% of LakeBooking's retained commission (the booking fee the platform retains) on every booking made by an angler who arrives via your link, for 60 days after they sign up. No cap.
   • For host referrals: €100 one-off bonus for each new host who joins through your link and completes their first paid booking on the platform.
4. Get paid monthly in EUR or RON, via bank transfer. Minimum payout: €25.

Who this is for

• Fishing content creators — YouTubers, TikTokers, bloggers writing about specific lakes, species, or methods.
• Tackle and bait shops with a website or email list.
• Fishing club & federation admins with a membership newsletter or website.
• Fishing guides who want to refer clients toward overnight bookings without managing the calendar themselves.

We're selective on purpose — affiliate spam dilutes trust. Drop-shipper sites, generic coupon aggregators, and accounts with unclear ownership won't be approved.

What we'll do for you

• Honest tracking. First-touch attribution with a 30-day cookie window. We share a real-time dashboard so you can see signups, bookings, and earnings.
• Co-branded creative. PNG and SVG logos, lake photography we have rights to, post-templates for Instagram and YouTube thumbnails.
• A dedicated contact above 200 referrals/year. A real person, not a ticketing queue.
• Early access to new features as we ship them.

Rules — the short version

• Don't bid on our brand keywords. No "lakebooking", "lake booking", or close variants on Google Ads. We're already there.
• Disclose the relationship. Required by ANSPDCP and the EU Digital Services Act. We provide standard disclosure text in EN and RO.
• No incentivised installs or fake accounts. Self-referrals, family accounts, and bookings cancelled within 7 days don't count.
• One referral per angler / per host. First touch wins.

Full programme terms are sent with the approval email and form part of your contract with LakeBooking S.R.L.

FAQ

Can I be an affiliate if I also list my lake on LakeBooking? Yes — you can earn affiliate commission on referrals to other lakes, and the owner-referral bonus when another host joins through your link. You can't earn on bookings at your own lake; we detect this automatically.

Do I need a company to participate? No. Romanian PFA / II, and EU/UK self-employed sole traders are fine. We'll handle the relevant fiscal documentation per Romanian law.

Can I qualify for both rewards at the same time? Yes. A creator who sends both anglers and hosts through their link earns the angler commission and the host bonus, independently. The two pots don't cap each other.
