LakeBooking S.R.L. (CUI 55420249, Trade Register no. J2026049620005, registered office: Strada Dr. Leonte Anastasievici, Nr. 9, Camera 2, Etaj 1, Ap. 2, Sector 5, Bucharest, Romania), as data controller, is committed to protecting the personal data of users on lakebooking.com, in full compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679.
1. What Data We Collect and Why
To function as a reservation platform, we collect the following information:
- Account Data: First name, last name, email address, phone number (Legal Basis: Contract execution / Account creation).
- Billing Data: Full residential address (Country, County, City, Street name and number). This data is strictly necessary for issuing the fiscal invoice for the platform service fee we retain and reporting it to the ANAF RO e-Factura system.
- Payment Data: Transactions are processed securely via Stripe. LakeBooking S.R.L. does not store credit card details on its servers; they are sent directly and securely to Stripe in an encrypted format.
2. How We Share and Disclose Your Data
Your personal data is shared with the following third parties strictly to ensure the proper functionality of our service:
- The Lake Owner: We share your name, surname, and phone number so they can identify you at the venue's reception and validate your booking.
- Our Payment Provider (Stripe): Transaction and identification details required to complete your online card payment and prevent fraud.
- Fiscal Authorities (ANAF): Your billing details, via the submission of fiscal invoices to the national RO e-Factura system.
3. Data Retention Period
- Personal data connected to your user account is kept for as long as your account remains active.
- Data contained within fiscal invoices will be stored for 10 years, in accordance with financial-accounting legal obligations in Romania.
4. Your GDPR Rights
As a data subject, you hold the following rights, which you can exercise at any time by emailing us at contact@lakebooking.com:
- Right of access: To know what data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: To request the correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): To request account deletion (except for data in already-issued invoices, which we are legally required to keep).
- Right to data portability: To receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).
