Balta Sulimanu

Balta Sulimanu is a reservoir lake near Sărulești-Gară, in Călărași county, right next to the Sun Motorway: you enter through the OMV gas station parking lot at km 49, on the way to Constanța. The lake is around 14 hectares, with reeds and willows on the banks; the northern part, next to the complex, is the A2Wake wakeboard park, and for fishing there are the 10 hectares in the south, up to the dam. The lake is stocked with Romanian carp from the Comana Fish Farm: 8 tons at the opening of the 2025 season and weekly stockings in 2026. Along with carp, you can catch crucian carp, silver carp, perch and zander, and spinning fishing is allowed. The 35 swims are on the two banks of the fishing area, with car access up to the swim. The A2Wake complex, at the north end of the lake, has a restaurant with a terrace, a swimming pool and accommodation in bungalows and XL rooms, about 100 m from the swims. The lake is video monitored 24 hours a day, and pets are accepted.
