Lacul Nucetu

Lacul Nucetu is an 11-hectare sport fishing lake in Călărași county, about 35 minutes from Bucharest, with an exit from the A2 at Lehliu Gară and access from the DN3. The water stretches for almost 700 meters along a valley, has an average depth of 2 meters, with variations between 1 and 2.5 meters, and casting distances to the opposite bank are between 50 and 160 meters. The lake is known for its high density of fish: carp, crucian carp, grass carp and bighead carp. Among the residents are carp specimens exceeding 12 kg and grass carp over 15 kg. Zander, pike, perch and tench are caught accidentally and released immediately. Bait-boat use is prohibited on the entire lake, so the fish feed across the entire surface of the water. On the bank there are 36 numbered swims, some with a wooden pontoon, others paved, with a table and bench at the water. The willows planted along the bank provide natural shade at over 90% of the swims, and several spots are suitable for camping with a tent. The road is paved to the lake and along the lake, you can reach each swim by car, and the lake has parking, a reception with a 24/7 open bar, toilets, water taps, barbecue areas, night lighting, an electric barrier at the entrance and video surveillance.
