Lacul Căprioara

Lacul Căprioara is a sport fishing lake of approximately 1.3 hectares in the village of Căprioara, Recea-Cristur commune, Cluj county, about 40 km from Cluj-Napoca, right next to the county road 109A. On the lake, fishing is done exclusively in a catch & release system, with strict fish protection rules: sling, wetted mat and at most five minutes on the bank for each catch. The lake is populated with large common carp and mirror carp, and the regulations require that fish over 18 kg be photographed directly in the water. Swans also live on its surface. The 6 swims are lined up on the north-east bank, each with its own wooden pontoon and a cabin with a terrace, electricity, refrigerator, two beds and a small table; in front there are about 90 meters of water to the opposite bank, bordered by willows. Next to the gazebo are, in common, the shower, grills, cauldron and microwave oven, and the lake also has ecological toilets, a bait and accessories shop, free Wi-Fi and free parking, video monitored 24 hours a day.
