New Lake Lazuri 5

New Lake Lazuri 5 is a carp lake in the village of Lazuri, Comișani commune, Dâmbovița county, about 10 km southeast of Târgoviște. It was created by the merging of two old ponds, Lazuri 4 and Lazuri 5, after the dikes were raised and the water level rose. It covers about 6 hectares, has three islands in the middle of the lake and a row of weirs that separate the water of sector A from that of sector B. Between 2017 and 2020 the lake was stocked with over 1,100 carp ranging from 5 to 27 kg, and the largest carp caught here weighed almost 31 kg. In addition to the common carp and mirror carp, the lake also hosts amur. On the banks there are 18 stands: A1 to A9 in sector A on the south bank, and B1 to B9 in sector B on the north bank. Each stand has its pontoon and cabin, with two beds, a table, a television, Wi‑Fi, lighting and an enclosed terrace with a transparent roller blind. Each sector has bathrooms with toilet and shower, separated for men and women, and the administration includes a cafe‑bar with terrace, catering services and a bait and fishing gear shop. The parking is guarded and illuminated.
