Ozone Lake

Ozone Lake is a carp and feeder fishing lake located on the edge of Purcăreni village, in Argeș county, 5 minutes from Mioveni and 12 km from Pitești. Behind the lake flows the Râul Doamnei, and the surrounding wooded hills gave it its name: strongly oxygenated air, peace and a landscape that can be seen from every swim. The lake was created by Răzvan Marius Popa, a fish farming engineer with 27 years of experience in carp fishing. On the bank there are seven cabins, each with a private fishing swim covered with non-slip carpet. Cabins 1, 2 and 3 have a double bed, and cabins 4, 5, 6 and 7 have two single beds. All have their own bathroom with shower and hot water, 220 V electricity, air conditioning or heating, refrigerator, wardrobe, veranda with a table and two chairs, barbecue and outdoor wood stove. On the swim you will find an unhooking mat, weighing sling, scales with tripod and carp and feeder landing net. The lake is stocked with common carp, mirror carp, grass carp, sturgeon, crucian carp, roach and zander, with carp between 6 and 30 kg, and operates exclusively on a catch and release basis, with mat, sling and antiseptic spray provided free of charge. On the premises there is a bar, a fishing shop with bait and accessories and carp or feeder equipment for rent. Reservations are made by phone or online, with daily check-in at 18:00.
